Description

TecCera supplies precision alumina ceramic friction discs designed for friction false-twist units used in draw texturing machines. Manufactured from high-purity alumina (Al₂O₃), these discs provide a hard, wear-resistant, and dimensionally stable yarn-contact surface for processing polyester, nylon, polypropylene, and other synthetic fibers.

The yarn-contact surface can be precision ground and diamond polished to achieve controlled surface roughness and smooth yarn guidance. Compared with conventional polyurethane and metal friction discs, alumina ceramic discs can provide longer service life, stable friction performance, and reduced contamination under demanding operating conditions.
