Metallized Ceramic Components
Metallized Ceramic Parts
Custom metallized ceramic parts in alumina, including tubes, rings, plates, rods, cylinders and substrates, with Mo/Mn metallization and optional Ni, Cu, Au or Ag plating.
Overview
TecCera supplies precision metallized ceramic parts manufactured primarily from high-purity alumina ceramics for vacuum, electrical, medical, aerospace, RF, and high-power applications.
Our metallized ceramic components can be produced in a wide range of shapes, including tubes, rings, plates, rods, cylinders, substrates, and custom geometries. Mo/Mn metallization is typically applied as the base metallization layer, followed by optional nickel, copper, gold, or silver plating depending on the subsequent brazing, sealing, bonding, or electrical requirements.
Metallization can be selectively applied to flat, cylindrical, internal, external, and complex ceramic surfaces according to customer drawings and application requirements.

Key Features
1. Strong Metallization Adhesion
Mo/Mn metallization provides a stable metallic interface on alumina ceramic surfaces for subsequent brazing, bonding, plating, and sealing.
2. Uniform and Dense Metal Layer
Controlled metallization processes help achieve consistent coating thickness, smooth surfaces, and reliable bonding performance.
3. Excellent Electrical Insulation
Alumina ceramics provide strong dielectric properties for high-voltage, high-frequency, and electrical isolation applications.
4. High Mechanical Strength
Metallized alumina ceramic parts combine structural rigidity with good dimensional stability.
5. Good Brazability
Nickel-plated and other plated metallized surfaces can provide suitable interfaces for ceramic-to-metal brazing.
6. Heat and Corrosion Resistance
Alumina ceramics perform reliably in demanding environments involving elevated temperature, vacuum, electrical stress, and corrosion.
