Overview

TecCera supplies custom metallized stepped alumina ceramic insulators for electrical insulation, ceramic-to-metal brazing, vacuum sealing, and high-voltage applications.

The component features a stepped cylindrical alumina ceramic body with metallized end surfaces, providing both electrical insulation and suitable interfaces for subsequent metal plating, brazing, or ceramic-to-metal assembly.

Manufactured from 95% or 99% alumina, the ceramic can be metallized with a Mo/Mn layer and subsequently plated with nickel, copper, gold, or other compatible metals according to application requirements.

Dimensions, end diameters, wall thickness, metallization areas, plating materials, and dimensional tolerances can be customized according to customer drawings.

Typical Applications

  • Ceramic-to-metal brazed assemblies
  • Electrical insulation components
  • High-voltage assemblies
  • Vacuum equipment
  • Hermetic sealing structures
  • Electrical feedthrough assemblies
  • Power and electronic equipment
