Detailed Product Information

Metallized Alumina Ceramic Cone

Product Overview

TecCera supplies precision metallized alumina ceramic cones for ceramic-to-metal brazing and hermetic sealing applications. Available in 95% or 99% alumina, these components combine excellent electrical insulation, mechanical strength, thermal stability, and vacuum compatibility.

The metallization layer can be applied to flat, cylindrical, tapered, and other complex ceramic surfaces. Molybdenum-manganese (Mo-Mn) is commonly used as the base metallization system, followed by optional nickel, silver, copper, or gold plating to improve wettability, oxidation resistance, conductivity, and brazing performance.

Dimensions, tolerances, metallized areas, surface finish, and plating systems can be customized according to customer drawings or samples.

Component Types

  • Metallized alumina ceramic cones
  • Tapered ceramic insulators
  • Conical ceramic feedthrough components
  • Metallized vacuum ceramic components
  • Ceramic-to-metal brazing components
  • Custom-shaped metallized ceramic parts
